Tundra
Tundra is a treeless cold wasteland where temperatures are too low for tree growth. Classified as ET (tundra climate) in Koppen, the warmest month averages 0-10C. The surface is covered by mosses, lichens, and dwarf shrubs over permafrost.
Tundra is found in northern Russia (Siberian coast), northern Canada, northern Alaska, coastal Greenland, and northern Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, Finland). It barely exists in the Southern Hemisphere, limited to some Antarctic coastal areas.
In GeoHint, tundra landscape or north of the treeline suggests Russia, Canada, or Norway. Tundra is concentrated above the Arctic Circle (66.5N), so latitude hints combine effectively.
