About this game
One of 8 Billion is a free life simulation game: choose when and where you are born and follow one life year by year.
The odds of each event come from UN (WPP 2024), World Bank (WDI), UNDP (HDR) and OWID statistics for that country and year: school, work, family, illness and moving abroad.
Compare your life with 100 people born the same day and keep it on a share page. It runs in the browser, no sign-up.
Illness, accidents, violence, suicide and other events happen at their real statistical rates. None of them is depicted.
