Key Insight: Unique Scripts Identify Countries Instantly

Hangul means Korea/North Korea, Hiragana/Katakana means Japan, Thai script means Thailand, Georgian script means Georgia, Armenian script means Armenia. These unique scripts are used in only 1-2 countries, giving maximum narrowing power.

Cyrillic Script Zone

About 12 countries use Cyrillic: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Serbia, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Kazakhstan (transitioning), Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Mongolia. 'Uses Cyrillic' limits to about 12 former Soviet or South Slavic countries. Combined with continent hint, narrows to 3-5.

Arabic Script Zone
